DEI TRAININGS OFFERED VIRTUALLY AND IN-PERSON
DEI TRAININGS OFFERED VIRTUALLY AND IN-PERSON
We are at our best - and capable of doing our best - when we feel seen, valued and respected. For over 20 years, Talking Changes has offered individually-tailored, richly informative, thought-provoking and transformation-inspiring DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) training and consulting services. Subjects span from unconscious bias and cultural humility, to sexual and gender identity, self-care and burnout, teen suicide prevention, and much more. Every single training seeks to create an atmosphere of safety, curiosity and respect in which participants can think, learn and grow.
Education
Talking Changes' founder, Dr. Mara Gottlieb (she/her), graduated Cum Laude from Brown University's B.A. program, and holds an MSW and PhD in social work from New York University. Please see the "Publications and Clients" page for a list of past and present client relationships.

Consulting/Brainstorming Next Steps For You or Your Agency
It's perfectly okay if you're not sure what next steps to take - let's collaborate to determine the best course of action. The first consultation is free of charge! Click here for more on our consulting services.
Coaching/Supervision
Confidential coaching and supervision is available through Zoom. It is often helpful to have an ally and partner in helping you tap into your own wisdom, intuition, and problem-solving skills, and/or to speak about DEI-related topics (or ask DEI-related questions) in an atmosphere of non-judgment. We live in a culture that expects us to already know everything and never admit to ignorance or bias, but that's the only way we can learn. Our meetings are a place where you can bravely discover what you don't know you don't know. Click here for more information about supervision or coaching.
